Ionia Sentinel Standard, 17 Sep 1934

Mrs. Harriet Tumans died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Warren Sisman in
Wayne, Saturday, September 15.  Mrs. Tumans and family lived in Ionia
practically all their lives until the daughter moved to Wayne where she taught
school and Mrs. Tumans accompanied her.  Funeral services will be held at the
home in Wayne with a short prayer service at the Oak Hill cemetery Tuesday
afternoon at 2 o’clock.
