LYMAN TUMANS. Funeral Services Held Yesterday Interment in Oak Hill. Six years ago, or on Feb. 25, 1895, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Stiven was the scene of a joyful wedding, when Isora D. McDonald and Lyman Tumans were made man and wife. Tuesday the remains of this dearly loved woman were brought back to that home, cold in death, and Wednesday morning, at 10 o'clock, touching services were held at the Church of Christ, after which the remains were tenderly laid to rest in the grave, beside her mother, in Oak Hill cemetery. Prayer was first said at the Stiven home, after which the remains were escorted to the church, where were gathered many of the sorrowing friends of the deceased, whose who had known her as a lovely girl, and who loved her as a noble, kind, sincere and affectionate Christian woman. Rev. G.K. Berry officiated, his remarks being fitting, and consoling to those near and dear to her during her life time. Hymns were sung by Mrs. Eugene Smith, Miss Katheryn Spencer, and Messrs. Horace Peck and Clarence Winchell, Fred Stiven, jr., at the organ. For six years before her marriage Mrs. Tumans made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Stiven and during that time was an earnest worker in the Church of Christ, and especially in the C.E. society, from which the pallbearers were chosen. They were Clarence and Walter Winchell, Frank Taylor and Ben Cox. There were many beautiful flowers, mostly from Chicago, showing how she will be missed there, and emphasizing the fact that all who know her loved her. Mrs. Tumans was 30 years of age, and leaves beside her husband, one daughter, a beautiful little girl two years of age. Miss Hattie McDonald, of Chicago, sister of deceased, came with the remains and an uncle of deceased, Mr. Ross, and old gentleman nearly 80 years of age, came all the way from Rochester, N.Y., to attend the funeral.
