Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 9 Dec 1954

Borden G.  Tupper, 70, of 1843 Derwin? street, Grand Rapids, died Wednesday 
afternoon at St. Mary’s Hospital where he had been taken following an 
automobile accident Saturday evening near Ada.  He was born in Ionia and lived 
most of his life in Grand Rapids.  He was a rural mail carrier for 35 years and 
retired about one year ago.

Surviving are his son, E.J. Tupper of Ionia, one granddaughter, Leone Hatton, 
at home and three grandchildren, Tom, Judith and Laurie Tupper of Ionia.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:30 at Blanchard funeral 
home in Grand Rapids.  Interment will be at Oak Grove cemetery.
