Tupper, for many years a resident of Pewamo, passed to his final reward last Friday morning at the county infirmary where he had been staying since his health became bad, the direct cause of his death being due to heart disease. The funeral was held at the infirmary and interment made in the burial ground at that place. The deceased was at one time a man of considerable means and for a number of years a Justice of the Peace in this village. He left Pewamo nearly twenty years ago and except for an occasional visit back to the scenes of former times little was known of him. His wife preceded him to the other world many years ago while they were still residents of this community.
