She had been in ill health for several years and had been a patient at the rest home for six years. Born October 21, 1871 in Odessa township, she was a daughter of Oliver and Melissa (Anway) Dailey. She was married to Harvey H. Tupper 66 years ago, December 30. She had spent most of her life in the Lake Odessa area but had lived in Lansing the past 35 years. Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. William (Bessie) Groff of Plymouth and Mrs. Opal Smith of Lansing; two sons, Lee of Grand Ledge and Dewey of Lansing; 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. The body is at the Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa, where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery and the Rev. A.J. Pitman will officiate.
