Lake Odessa Wave - August 25, 1960
           HARVEY TUPPER BURIED MONDAY

   Harvey H. Tupper, 86, retired cigar maker, painter and decorator died Thursday
evening at the Fairview Rest 
Home in Lansing after a long illness.  He had been a patient at the rest home since
1957.

   He was a native of Kansas but had lived in the local area for a number of years
before moving to Lansing 
about 40 years ago.  His wife, the former Minnie Dailey whom he married in 1891
passed away n 1958.

   Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William (Bessie) Groff; of Plymouth and Mrs.
Opal Smith of Lansing; two 
sons, Dewey of Lansing and Lee of Grand Ledge one brother, Myron of Weldman, 34
grandchildren and 
several great grandchildren.

   Funeral services were held on Monday at 1:30 at the Pickens funeral chapel with
burial in the Lakeside 
cemetery, Rev. A. J. Pitman officiated.
