Lowell Ledger, 16 Oct 1941

Mrs. Letha Hakes Turley, 68, former prominent Lowell resident, was fatally
injured Monday when she was run over by a flier on the railroad tracks back of
the Michigan State hospital at Kalamazoo, where she was a patient.  Burial was
made in South Boston cemetery.
