The daughter of Clifford and Iva Bly, she was born Sept. 29, 1937, in Belding, and was a graduate of Belding High School. A loving mother and grandmother, Barbara had worked at Federal-Mogul and later for Dr. Hallick and Dr. Havens. She enjoyed needlework and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Donald Bly. She is survived by her children, Tracey and Ed Harris of St. Johns, John and Pam Turner of Muskegon, Jean Turner of Salt Lake City, Utah; four grandchildren, Nicholas Harris, Edward Harris; Madison Turner, John Henry Turner; brother, Kenneth Bly of Belding; former husband and the father of her children, Jack Turner of Rockford; three former sisters-in-aw and their spouses, Virginia and Butch Weber, Faye and Frank Nelson, Barb and Lenny Zimmerman; and many special friends. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Brown-Teman & Christiansen Funeral Home, Greenville, with Father Phil Salmonowicz officiating. Burial will follow in River Ridge Cemetery, Belding. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Barbara are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
