BELDING- Russell Lee Turner, 52, of Belding, entered the Grace of our Lord on 
Sunday morning, Oct. 28, 2012, at Spectrum Health United Hospital Nursing and 
Rehab Center in Greenville.

Russell was born Nov. 18, 1959, in Mount Pleasant, the son of Lawrence and 
Donna (Ettinger) Turner.

He graduated from Mount Pleasant High School with the Class of 1978 and 
attended Mid Michigan Community College in Harrison. Russell was a member of 
CrossPoint/Flat River Ministries Church. He enjoyed working on cars, street 
racing and playing guitar. He loved spending time with family and friends and 
enjoyed listening to Christian music and speaking of God with the other 
residents in the Rehab Center. He was married on Sept. 12, 1981, in Mount 
Pleasant to Georgia Crankshaw.

Russell is loved and survived by his wife, Georgia, and their children, 
Christina Turner and Rusty Turner, all of Belding and his mother, Donna Turner 
of Mount Pleasant. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. 

Funeral and committal services will be 2 p.m. Thursday Nov. 1, at Johnson-
Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor Daryl Britton officiating. 
Interment will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the wishes of the family.
