Eleanor Louise Turnes of Hastings
Died Saturday February 10, 2018-age 89 
Born June 11, 1928 in ionia county, daughter of Ivan and Florence (Thompson) Sower.
Married August Turnes Jr. August 17, 1974 and were married 43 years.
Retired from Atwood Corporation in 1992.
Was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Church.
Preceded in death by husband, August, parents, brother, nephew and son-in-law.
Survived by daughter; step-children, several brother & sister-in-laws,
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services were Wednesday February 14, 2018 at Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings.
Interment was at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice, Jackson, MI.
