May 15, 1940 Mary Wolford Tusing, 66, who resided just over the line in Woodland township, after suffering a stroke was taken to the local hospital where she died Wednesday morning. She was born in Dark county, Ohio, and came to Michigan in 1885. As the widow of Harry Hubbard she married Harry Tusing a few years ago. Besides her husband she leaves four daughters, Jennie and Mrs. Margaret Tohr at Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Rose Ford of San Francisco, Cal., Mrs. Matilda Alvin of Spokane, Wash.; two sons, Ivan Birman in Texas and Alonzo Birman at Spokane.
