Lake Odessa Wave – 2 May 1935
Mrs. Harry Tussing, 54, died at her home just south of Lake Odessa, Sunday at 
midnight after several years of ill health.  She had been seriously ill only 
during the past few months.  Mrs. Norah L. Tussing was born in Sebewa in 1881, 
her father being the late Jacob Luscher.  In 1908 she was married to Harry 
Tusing and they have always lived in this vicinity.  She is survived by the 
husband and three sisters, Mrs. Norman Gibbs, Portland; Mrs. Adah Johnson, 
Brigham City, Utah, and Mrs. Edna McNeal, Sebewa.  Funeral services will be 
held at the Sebewa Center Methodist church Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock 
with the Rev Lawrason, pastor of the Sunfield Methodist church, officiating.  
Burial will be in the Sebewa Cemetery.
