The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, April 28, 1930

Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Tuttle, Jr., of Pittsburgh, Pa., who were accompanying the 
body of A. H. Tuttle, Sr., a former Ionian, to Ionia were met in Grand Ledge 
Saturday forenoon by Mr. and Mrs. William B. Heath and a delegation of members 
of the Elks’ lodge of Ionia.  The body was brought to Ionia, where it lay in 
state in the Methodist Episcopal church from 1 until 3 o’clock Saturday.  At 
3:30 the services were conducted by Rev. W. F. Kendrick and the interment took 
place at the Highland Park cemetery.  The bearers were Charles Stevenson, 
George Kuhtz, Henry Voelker, A. J. Hemingway, Fred T. Wortman, and N. J. 
Ogilvie.
