B. Tuttle. E. B. Tuttle died Dec. 15, 1897. He was born in Ohio, Sept. 25, 1822. At the age of 2 years he came with his parents to Ypsilanti, Washtenaw county, Michigan. He resided with his parents till he was 21 years of age. In 1843 he came to Otisco and settled on what is known as the Enoch Brown farm. And in 1845, he was united in marriage to Caroline Stokes of Otisco. In the winter of 1870 he gave his heart to God and was converted and united with the Baptist church at Smyrna. He was a consistent Christian, a loving husband, and indulgent father, and a kind neighbor. He leaves a widow and four children, two sons and two daughters. He left his farm in November, 1881 and moved to Eureka where he has since lived. E.B. TUTTLE. Resolutions adopted on the death of Bro. E. B. Tuttle: Whereas, That Power which man cannot stay has entered our order and born away our Brother E. B. Tuttle: Resolved, That the heartfelt sympathy of this Grange be extended to his family in their bereavement, and as a token of respect our chapter be draped in mourning for sixty days.
