M. W. Duffey of the Methodist Episcopal church officiating. Music was by Mrs. Ray Colwell and Mrs. Thane Benedict. Bearers were five nephews, Dr. Ray Thomas, Clarence Eddy, Glenn Eddy, Norman Tuttle and Donald Tuttle and Milton Flagstaff. Relatives from out of town attending were a son, Raymond and family of Tawas; two daughters, Mrs. Roy Smith and family of South Bend, Indiana, and Mrs. Alice Johnston and family of Detroit; three nephews, Glenn Eddy of Lansing, Clarence Eddy of Flint, and Dr. Ray Thomas of South Bend, Indiana, Milton Flagstaff of Detroit, and a brother, George West of Grand Rapids.
