Tuttle, 93, of Wyoming died Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids. Carmon was born April 3, 1914 in Belding the daughter of Allen R. and Sarah M. Shaw Tuttle. She was a graduate of Belding High School with the class of 1932. She also attended Meaneys Commercial College. In earlier years, Carmon had worked at the Belding Hosiery Mill, the Murray Corporation, American Seating Co. and later retired in 1980 from Fisher Body after 30 years of service as a bookkeeper. She studied violin with Carl Baker and played in the Belding Community Orchestra and the High School Orchestra. She was Past Matron and life member of Doric Chapter #75, Order of Eastern Star of Belding. Carmon is survived by her sister, Ione Killman of Traverse City, one grand nephew, Mark Ohrenberger of California and her long time friends from Grand Rapids and Belding. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Harger of Shiloh Community Church officiating. Interment will follow in River Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Belding Museum or the Doric Chapter#75 Order of the Eastern Star.
