Frank Tyler, where brought to Ionia today from Detroit for burial. Mr. Tyler will be recalled by Ionia’s older residents as the first agent here, 40 odd years ago, of the American Express company, and a prime mover in bringing a Bell telephone exchange to this city, when he was appointed manager of the exchange. Mr. and Mrs. Tyler built the residence on Lafayette street now owned by L. C. Worden, and were many years highly esteemed residents, always active in community affairs.
