Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. Jan. 8, 2013

Glenn Edward Tyler, 90, of Ionia passed away Jan. 6, 2013 in Ionia. He was born 
Dec. 24m 1922 in Battle Creek, the son of Walter and Meriam (Bartrum) Tyler.

Glenn married Shirley Moore January 16, 1945. He was a member of Sheridan VFW 
and Saranac American Legion.

Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Shirley Tyler of Ionia; sons, 
Greg (Denise) Tyler of Saranac and Randy Tyler of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, 
Joshua, Jessica, Trevor and Trisha; nine great grandchildren; brother, George 
(Marge) Tyler of Saranac and sister, Rosaline (Val) Bennett of Belding. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10 at Easton United 
Methodist Church with Pastor Nancy Patera officiating. Visitation will be 
Thursday, 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home of Ionia. You may make contributions in
