Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Thursday, Dec. 21, 1967

Mrs. Marian A. Tyler, 67, of route two Saranac, Easton township, died Wednesday 
evening at a hospital in Grand Rapids after an illness of six weeks.

Born May 6, 1900, she was the daughter of George and Bertha Bartram. May 3, 
1919 she was married in Ionia to Walter A. Tyler. A member of Easton Methodist 
church and WSCS of that church, she was also a member of VFW auxiliary and 
World War I, auxiliary.

Besides her husband Walter she leaves four daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Bowerman of 
Lake Odessa, Mrs. Neil Carigon and Mrs. Hubert Dixon of route two, Saranac, 
Mrs. Val Bennett, route 2, Saranac, 31 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 
one half-brother, Perry Bartram of route 2, Saranac and one half-sister, Mrs. 
Irvin McCuster of route two, Saranac. 

The body will be at Stone-Kauffman funeral home until noon Saturday when it 
will be taken to Easton Methodist church for funeral services at 2 pm. 
Interment will be in Easton cemetery.
