SHIRLEY MAY TYLER, 93
Shirley May Tyler, aged 93, of Ionia, passed away June 29, 2018.

She was born October 8, 1924, in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of William S. and
Della (Pallister) Moore. She married her beloved husband, Glenn Tyler, January 16, 1945;
he preceded her in death January 6, 2013.

Shirley retired from Ionia County memorial Hospital. She traveled between Michigan
and California and she finally settled back in Michigan. Shirley is survived by her
children; Gregg (Denise) Tyler of Florida and Randy Tyler (Arthur) of California,
grandchildren; Trevor (Tami) Tyler of Caledonia, Trisha (Kaleb) Vickery of Saranac, Joshua 
Tyler (Nick) of California, Jessica Atcley of California, Great-grandchildren; Zachary, 
Morgan, Nick (Mary),Taylor, Kenyon, Sara, David, Asher and Aria, Brother-in-law; George 
(Marge) Tyler of Saranac and Rosiland (Val) Bennett of Belding, many nieces and nephews, 
and special friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son, Randy Craig; brothers;
Jack Moore and Harold Moore. The family would like to extend their thanks to the
wonderful caregivers from heartland Health Care and their gentle ways.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 6, at Easton church with Pastor
Nancy Sperry officiating. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the service at the
church. 

Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Memorial Contributions may be
made to the Saranac American Legion or the Sheridan VFW. Online condolences can be made
