TYLER
George Elmer Tyler age 91 of Saranac passed away November 10, 2021 in Saranac.He 
was born March 19, 1930 in Battle Creek, MI, the son of Walter A.and Marian 
(Bartram)Tyler. George married Lois J.Perry in 1959. She preceded him in death 
in 1982. He went on to marry Margaret in 1983. He enjoyed going fishing and 
camping with friends and family.

George is survived b his loving wife of 38 years Margaret Tyler of Saranac; 
daughter, Sharon (Bob) Courser of Florida, son-in-law, Dave Powers of Ionia 
grandsons, Mike (Amber) Ohlrich of Hastings, Pat courser of Florida and Paul 
Courser of Florida; sister,Rosalyn (Val) Bennett of Belding; 6 great-
grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lois, daughter Cheryle Powers and 
grandson Gary Ohlrich.

A Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Lake 
Funeral Home in Saranac with Pastor John Bell officiating.Visitation will be 
held Tuesday 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.Memorial 
contributions may be made in George's name to Saranac Fire Department. Online
