Ionia Shopper's Guide - Saturday May 24, 2025

             TYLER

Margaret Ann Tyler, age 91 of Ionia, formerly of Saranac, passed away Wednesday, 
May 7, 2025. She was born on December 30, 1933, in Kent County daughter of 
William and Mary Ellen (Passmore) Francis.

Marge married George Tayler in 1983. he preceded her in death on November 10, 
2021. She worked at Amway for 25-30 years until retirement and later at the 
American Legion in Saranac. She loved her dogs, playing pool and gardening.

Surviving is her daughter Deborah Canning of California, step-daughter Sharon 
(Bob) Courser. Grandchildren Edward (Erin)Canning and Michael Ohlrich. Great-
grandchildren Kobe Canning, Kaleb Canning, Brett Ohlrich(Kiara),Kyle Ohlrich, 
Kelsey(Tony)Ohlrich, Ashley Ohlrich(Parker),Jessica Ohlrich and Jenna Ohlrich. 
Great-great-grandchildren Sylvia and Charlotte. Son-in-law David (Kandi)Powers 
and brothers Tom(Marie)Francis and Jim (Geri) Francis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, son Thomas Edward 
Canning, stepdaughter Cheryl Powers, grandson Gary Ohlrich, brothers Bill 
Francis and Don Francis and sisters Rosemary, Millie and Mary.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at Woodville 
Cemetery on Saturday, May 24th at 3 pm. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral 
Home in Ionia.Online condolences may be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com
