Sentinel-Std. - Saturday, Aug, 1, 1981

ROCHESTER, MINN. - Leroy (Pruny) Udell, 77, of 618 Benton Court, Ionia died 
Thursday in Rochester, Minn.

He was born Dec. 14, 1903 in St. Louis, Mo., the son of Harry S. and Elizabeth 
Boyle Udell. He was married Sept. 2, 1930 in Detroit to Irene Jane Baker.

He was employed by the state highway department for 14 years. He lived in Ionia 
the past 13 years and was a member of the LeValley Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Jim of Grand Rapids; and three 
grandchildren. A brother, Gerald, preceded him in death.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the LeValley Methodist Church with the 
Rev. Willis Braun and the Rev. Luther Brokaw officiating.

Burial will be in Tuttle cemetery.

Friends and relatives may visit at the funeral Myers Roetman Funeral Home, 
Saturday from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and from 
7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

a memorial fund has been established for the LeValley Methodist Church.
