The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, April 1, 1940


Funeral services for Gustav A. Uhlich, 67, were held Saturday afternoon at 1:45 
o’clock from the home in Keene township and from the St. John’s Evangelical 
Lutheran church in Ionia at 2 o’clock.  Rev. R. A. Rock officiated and 
interment was at Balcom cemetery.

Uhlich died Thursday morning, March 28, at the Iona community hospital of a 
stomach ailment.

Bearers were Perry Walter, Walter Hubbard, Dwight Robson and August Geiger.  
Floral arrangement were in charge of Mrs. Don Goodell and Miss Marie Geiger.
