Ionia Sentinel Standard - September 13, 1965

                           MRS.MARY ANNE UHLICH

Mrs.Mary Anne Uhlich, 83, died Sunday morning at her home, 107 Hawley highway, 
Saranac, following an illness of five years. She was born the daughter of Mr and 
Mrs Martin Hackett, March 29, 1882 in Chicago, and was a member of Ionia St.John 
Lutheran church.

Her husband, Gustav preceded her in death in March 1940.

Mrs. Uhlich is survived by three sons, Karl at home, Herman of California and 
John of Ann Arbor; three daughters, Mrs.Harold Abbey of Ionia, Mrs.Francis Hoorn 
of Muskegon and Mrs.Dwight Swiger of Lansing; seven grandchildren and one 
brother, Louis Hackett of Ionia.

Funeral service will be at Myers funeral home at 2 O'clock Wednesday afternoon 
with the Rev. Marvin Heller officiating and interment at Balcom Cemetery.
