Ionia Sentinel Standard, 4 Aug 1934

Charles Jay Underhill, 56, died at his home in Lyons, Friday, August 3.  He was 
born in Quincy, May 7, 1878.  When still very young he moved to Evergreen 
county with his parents,  He was married to Anna Creer, May 12, 1906, and they 
have resided in Lyons for many years. 

Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Thelma McCaul, Mrs. Hazel Rhodes 
and Mrs. Mayme Luz; one son, Wayne Creer, of Crystal; a sister, Mrs. Alice 
Font, of Ionia; two brothers, Morton Underhill, of Ionia, and Vern Underhill, 
of Lansing; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 from the Bradley funeral 
home.  Interment will be at Highland Park cemetery.
