The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, January 20, 1953

Word was received late Sunday evening by Mrs. Iva Underhill of the death of 
her son, Robert (Bud) Underhill, 29, of Lansing.  He was born in Ionia in 
1923.  He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army.

Surviving are the mother, Mrs. Iva Underhill of Ionia; his father, Vern 
Underhill of Lansing; a sister, Mrs. Opal Shattuck, of Ionia; and two 
brothers, Vernon and Eddie Underhill of Lansing.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. t the Estes-Leadley funeral 
home in Lansing.
