Ionia Shopper's Guide - Saturday June 22, 2024

            UNDERWOOD

Mezella Mae Underwood, age 98, of Ionia, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 
2024. She was born on October 25, 1925. She was the daughter of Floyd and 
Flossie Ingraham of Portland. She graduated Portland High School. Mezella 
married Floyd Underwood June 9, 1946. The couple had 5 children, John Underwood, 
deceased.Wanda Minni (Max), Connie Pritchard (Clyde), Leo Underwood and Teresa 
Seiler (Scott)

She has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; 
several nieces and nephews, and she considered Sandy Hair one of her daughters.

She loved quilting and reading and watching birds. She liked flowers, and yellow 
was her favorite color.

The family would like to thank the Laurels of Carson City for the excellent care 
given to her.
