Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

                               HAROLD S. UPDIKE

Died Friday January 3, 1986-age 84 at Kissimmee Memorial Hospital, Florida.
Born June 8, 1899 in Wexford County,MI.
World War I  Veteran & member of Belding American Legion Post 203.
Preceded in death by his wife, Hazel, in 1985.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.David (Barbara) Smith, Trufant; two sons & 
daughter-in-laws, Richard & Marjorie Updike, Orlando, Fla., Thomas & Sharon 
Updike, Comstock Park; seven grandchildren.
Funeral services are 1 PM Tuesday at Huffman Funeral Home, Belding.
Burial in Otisco Cemetery, Mr. Gerard Brown will officiate.
Visitation today from 7-9 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
