Portland Observer, 22 May 1895

Died – At the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Roe, in this village on the 19th 
inst., Mary J. Uri, aged 52 years.  Deceased formerly resided in Sebewa; but had 
resided in Grand Rapids for some time past.  She was a sister of A. J. Dickson of 
this village.  Funeral services were conducted from Mr. Roe’s residence on 
Tuesday afternoon, Rev. French officiating.
