Ionia Sentinel-Standard
Grover Urie, 80, of 645 Market St., Portland, died at his home Sunday evening.  
Born Dec. 22, 1908 in Portland, he was the son of Delbert and Belle Wooley Urie.  
Surviving are a son, Robert Urie of Portland; two daughters, Beverly Strand of 
Prudenville and Sally Brunette of Ft. Myers, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-
grandchildren; three sisters, Idella Urie and Julia Clark, both of Mississippi, 
and Enolia Deneau of Detroit.

The family will be at Neller Funeral Home Tuesday from 7 to 8 pm and Wednesday 
from 3 to 4 pm and 7 to 8 pm.  Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 pm at the 
funeral home, with the Rev. Donald Chapel of Portland First Baptist Church 
officiating.  Burial will be in Portland Cemetery.
