Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. Sept. 3, 1959

Mrs. Nellie Urtell Buried Wednesday
Mrs. Nellie E. Urtell  77, formerly of Lake Odessa, died at the home of a sister,
Mrs. Thomas Billiman of Coopersville.

She was born April 19, 1882, in Pennsylvania, moving to Hart at the age of 26.  She
was married to Fred A Urtell, and the couple moved to Lake Odessa in 1913 where they 
operated a general store until Mr. Urtell's death Sept 6, 1951. Mrs. Urtell has made
her home there since.

She was a member of Lake Odessa, OES, Rebekahs, Royal Neighbors.

Funeral services were Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Thropp Funeral and at 2 p.m. Thursday 
at the Pickens Funeral Home with burial there.
