Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. April 26, 1956

FLORENCE USBORNE DIED SUNDAY
Mrs. Florence M. Usborne, 84 passed away at the Masonic Home at Alma Sunday
afternoon where she had been a resident for about 16 months. She suffered a fractured 
hip the fore part of February and had been confined to her bed.

A native of Caledonia, she had resided in the local community for many years. Her 
husband, Alex, whom she married April 21, 1892 passed away in 1934.

Surviving are a brother Claud Peck of Tunjunga, California, and several nieces.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Pickens funeral Chapel with burial in
lakeside cemetery; Rev. A. J. Pitman officiated.
