Manuel T. Valadez, 50, of Belding and Grand Rapids, died unexpectedly Wednesday,
Nov. 25, 2009, in Grand Rapids.  Manuel was born Aug. 12, 1959, in Ionia, the
son of Jesus Torres and Gregoria Salas.

He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Miller.  He is survived by his
children, Sammy Ruic of Lansing, Tony Ruiz of Lansing, Lisa and Sean Krick of
Haslett, Jamie Valadez of Belding; two grandchildren; mother, Gregoria Rodriquez
of Belding; brothers and sisters, Jane and Lewis Ramos of San Antonio, Texas,
Jessie Valadez of Grand Rapids, Gloria Valadez of San Antonio, Texas, Georgia
Rodrequez and Don Peasley of Belding, Ramona and Kevin Wolters of Holland, Tony
Rodriquez of Grand Rapids, Robert Rodriquez of Ionia.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home,
Belding, with Pastor Scott March officiating.  Interment will follow in River
Ridge Cemetery, Belding.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at
the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be given to the wishes of the
family.
