Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. March 12, 1959

BALFOUR VALENTINE DIED MONDAY
Balfour S. Valentine, 44, died suddenly last Monday afternoon in Saginaw. He was
born in lake Odessa and married Neva Bennett in 1939. They moved to Saginaw 19 years ago.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Neva June: two brothers and two
sisters, Bernard of Toledo, Ohio, Mrs. Leland George of Lansing, Mrs. Horace Buche and Buford
Valentine, both of Lake Odessa.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday (today) at Case Chapel in Saginaw.

Committal services will be held at Pickens Funeral Chapel at 3 p.m. (today). Burial
will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
