Victoria A. Van Alstine, 58, was born in Lansing and raised in Portland.  She 
graduated from Portland St. Patrick in 1964.  She went to be with the Lord on 
May 27, 2005 after a long struggle with illness.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She dedicated her life to her 
family.  Vicki always enjoyed her many grandchildren and was the cornerstone 
of the family.

She will be sorely missed by her husband, Leonard of 37 years, her four 
children, Alice (Brian) Olger, Paula ( Paul) Hunnicutt, Eric (Dorothy) Van 
Alstine, Amy (Don) Niswonger; 14 grandchildren; parents, Hugh and Betty 
Honsowitz; brothers, Joe (Eileen) Honsowitz of Eaton Rapids, Mike (Jane) 
Honsowitz of Eagle, Tom (Janice) Honsowitz of Lexington Park, Md.; sister, 
Barbara (Clyde) Bever of Portland; and a large extended family.

Funeral services were held June 1 at the Pines Funeral Home with the Rev. 
Errol Jameson of Calvary Baptist Church officiating with interment in Chapel 
Hill Memorial Gardens.
