VERMONTVILLE-  Jeffrey W. Van Alstine, 19, 8249 W. Mt. Hope, Vermontville, died 
Friday evening from accidental injuries.

He was born October 10, 1963, in Lansing, the son of Gary and Terry Walman Van 
Alstine.

the Van Alstines lived in Lansing until 1974 when they moved to the Sunfield 
area. A senior at Lakewood High School, he had been attending Lakewood schools 
since the 5th grade. he was employed at Our Place in Woodbury. 

Surviving are his father, Gary and step-mother Sharen Van Alstine; his mother, 
Mrs. Terry Van Alstine of Modesto, Calif.; one step-brother, Brian Cook at home; 
grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Albert Van Alstine of Grand Ledge and Mr. and Mrs. 
Van Lackey; several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Funeral services were held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Lakewood United Methodist 
Church with the Rev. George Speas officiating.

Burial was at the Lakewood Cemetery in Grand Ledge.
