CLARENCE VanAMBURG
PORTLAND - Clarence W. VanAmburg, 72, of 239 Grand street died Sunday  at St. 
Lawrence hospital in Lansing.

He was born June 18, 1904 in Eagle township, the son of Mr and Mrs Fred VanAmburg.

He was a member of the Portland United methodist church and Moose Lodge 998, Ionia.

Survivors include his wife, Clela; one son, Donald of Portland; five daughters; Mrs.
Elaine VanLye of Denver, Colorado; Mrs.Georgia Haines of Glenwoods Springs, Colorado and
Mrs.  Reddin, Mrs. Doris Babbitt and Mrs. Lois Smith of Portland; two brothers, Claude of
Portland and Ivan of Lansing; two sisters Mrs. Stella Seldon of Portland and Mrs.
Helen McQueen of St.Johns; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services are Wednesday at 1:30 pm at the Neller funeral home with Rev. Robert S.
Treat officiating.

Burial is in North Eagle cemetery.

Bearers are Patrick McGraner, Timothy Babbitt, Kenneth Reddin, Steven VanAmburg,
Randy Sanborn, Allan Luttig, Kenneth Lawless and Brian Pline.
