The Lake Odessa Wave, August 22, 1929
Mrs. Ella Van Antwerp, who was past 60, died Friday, August 9, at her home in 
Kalamazoo.  She was the mother of Lowell Van Antwerp, who taught in the 
schools here some years ago, and made her home here with him.  While here they 
were members of Central M. E. church and made a great many friends who will be 
saddened by her death.

After leaving here they made their home in Tekonsha for a couple of years.  
The past year they have been living in Kalamazoo where Mr. Van Antwerp is 
attending college.  The funeral was held Sunday, August 11.
