Former Resident Of Danby Is Dead

Word was received in Portland the fore part of the week of the death in Detroit 
of Mrs. Emily VanBuren, who passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. A. 
Ellison.  She had been confined to her bed for two weeks following a fall.  She 
was past 90 years of age and had been in poor health for some time.  She 
formerly resided in Danby and was a sister of William and Charles Pryer.  Two 
sons also survive, Frank, of Detroit, and Bert, who resides in the west.  The 
body will be brought to Danby for burial.
