Morning Came To Lake Odessa from Carr District, Leaves Daughter and Two Step-Sons About two months ago Herbert VanCamp, living alone in the Carr district, came to Lake Odessa to spend the winter with Clayton Russell. About three weeks ago he was taken sick and was taken to the Wesley Desgrange home for care where he died Wednesday morning, aged 69. He is survived by a daughter Mrs. Lloyd Koutz, who is recovering from an illness, and by two stepsons, Arthur Randall of Grand Rapids, and another step- son in the West. His wife died two years ago. The body was taken by the Stebbins undertakers to Ionia and will be brought to the home of Lloyd Koutz, Thursday morning. The funeral will be held at that home Friday at 2 o’clock p.m., and at the Lake Odessa Calvary U.B. church at 2:30. Mr. VanCamp had been a Wesleyan minister and had preached in the Carr church, but when he died was a member of the Calvary U.B. church.
