Funeral services were from the home of Mrs. William Gillispie, with whom she had made her home for the past two years. The illness which brought her death was of long standing and was incident to her advanced age, she being 92 at the time of her death at the Gillispie home last Sunday. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. T. Halstead, of Lyons. Burial was in East Plains cemetery. She was the widow of William Vance and leaves one sister in Lowell and a brother in Detroit. She also is survived by a number of more distant relatives in this county.
