DEATH OF EMERSON VANCE

Emerson Vance died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Leon McVeigh in Ionia (MI) 
last Saturday, aged 69 years.  The funeral was held Monday at Pewamo under the 
auspices of Pewamo Masnic Lodge, of which deceased had long been a member.  
Mr. Vance was a pioneer of this township and was highly respected.  His wife 
died several years ago and he is survived by a daughter and son, Wilber Vance 
of Pewamo (MI).
