Ionia Daily Sentinel - Mon. Oct. 7, 1918

Mrs. Katherine Vance, aged 43 years, 7 months and 21 days, died Sunday morning 
at 1:30 at her home in Pewamo. Funeral announcements will be later. She leaves 
a sister-in-law, Mrs. Leon McVeigh, of this city.

Wed. Oct. 9, 1918
The funeral for Mrs. Wilbur Vance was held this morning from St. Joseph's 
church, in Pewamo. Rev. Chas. Uhlenburg officiated. Interment was in St. 
Joseph's cemetery. the pall bearers were Wm. Cosgriff, Leon McVeigh, Louis Fox, 
Jas. Cottingham, T. D. Rhyan and Grant Vance. The offerings of flowers were 
exceedingly beautiful and many.
