BERNARD VANCE of Pewamo
Bernard "Pete" Vance, died December 4, 2017-age 90
Born May 3, 1927 on the farm to Emery and Emma Vance
Had an older brother Kenneth & older sister Betty (Jim) Long.
Attended the Round School which was on the Vance property.
Married Bertha Hauser on September 3, 1949, she passed in 2006.
Surviving are three daughters, and five grandchildren.
Bernard loved farming, he started out raising milk cows, switched to Beef 
cattle (Black Angus) and ended his farming career raising Columbia sheep.
Also worked at Sealed Power Corporation in St. Johns for 30 years.
Was a member of Lebanon Twp. Grange, and the St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Burial at East Plains Cemetery.
