Lake O Wave – Feb. 1947

Edwin W. Vandecar, 84, died at his home in Woodbury, Wednesday afternoon after 
a long period of ill health. Surviving are the widow, Mary, three sons, Leon in 
Woodland, Clarence in Hastings, and Arthur in Lake Odessa, 23 grandchildren, 15 
great-grandchildren.

Mr. Vandecar reposes at the Pickens funeral chapel where services will be held 
Saturday at 2 with burial in Lakeside cemetery.

The couple resided in this vicinity for many years prior to purchasing their 
residence property in Woodbury.
