        Gladah M. Vanden Heuvel, aged 83, of Holland, formerly of Scottville, 
passed away Saturday, August 3, 2002, at Holland Community Hospital.  She was 
born February 26, 1919, in Ionia, the daughter of the late Benjamin and 
Theresa (Ritenburg) Mull.  She retired from General Electric.  She is survived 
by her husband, Gordon; daughter, Eileen Mooney; sons, Richard and Gene 
Haight; grandchildren, Jeff, Dawn and Melanie Mooney, Terrie Robinson, 
Melissa, Georgejanna, Carla and Scott Haight; and by great-grandchildren, 
Crystal and Samantha Robinson and Aaron Browning.  She was preceded in death 
by her parents, four brothers and one sister.  Memorial Services will be held 
5 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2002, at First United Methodist Church in 
Holland.  The Johnson Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of arrangements.
