VANDYKE Died November 7, 202age 74 of Greenville Born March 5, 1947 in Grand Rapids. The son of Lawrence H. & Virginia C.(Boot) VanDyke. Larry joined the Army Airborne n 1967 during the Vietnam War. He married Ellen January 27, 1979 in Grand Rapids. A Member of the Crossroads Wesleyan Church He worked at Amway for several years. He was an avid Trap & Skeet Shooter & loved hunting & fishing. He had membership in several gun clubs. Surviving are his wife, Ellen VanDyke of Greenville; children; Laura (John) Hayden of Saranac, Monique VanDyke of California and Kevin (Misti) McKivitz of Indians. Grandchildren: J.J. Hayden, Edge Henderson, Brittany McKivitz, Brandon McKivitz, Bailey McKivitiz & Brady McKivitz. Siblings; Linda (Lee) Zayac of Tennessee, Mark (Jean) VanDyke of Wisconsin, David Scott of Wisconsin & Christine (Mike) Koper of Canada. Preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service Thurs.Nov. 11, at 12:30 PM at Crossroads Wesleyan church Myers Lake Ave.N E Rockford, with Pastor Eldon Sanders officiating. Visitation at the church 11-12:30 at the church.
