MARIAN E. VANDYNE
LYONS - Mrs. Marian E. VanDyne, 78, of 268 South Tabor, died Tuesday evening in a
Grand Rapids hospital following a short illness.

She was born in Mecosta county February 25 1899, the daughter of Fred and Lilly
Bennett.

She married Rex VanDyne in 1917 and he preceded her in death in December, 1969. One
sister and one brother also preceded her in death.

The VanDynes moved to Lyons in 1929 and Mrs. VanDyne was employed by the Portland 
Shirt Factory.

Survivors include on e son, Earl of Lyons; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Erridge, of
Portland; three brothers, Jay Bennett of Lyons, Clarence Bennett of Palo and George Bennett of
Ruskin, Florida; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services are Saturday at 2 pm from the Hull Memorial chapel with Rev. Mark Matter of
Lyons United Methodist church officiating.

Burial is in the Muir cemetery.
