Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Fri. Jan. 24, 1941

John W. VanGeisen, 42-year-old Easton township farmer, died at his home Friday 
morning, January 24. He is survived by his father, Frank VanGeisen and three 
sisters, Mrs. Frances Peterson of Eaton, Mrs. Lucille Telfer of Rockford, and 
Mrs. Fannie Hill of Easton.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the Bradley 
funeral home. Rev. DeVries will officiate and interment will be at Easton 
cemetery.

Funeral services for John VanGeisen, who died Friday morning at his home in 
Easton township wer held Sunday at 2:30 from the Bradley funeral home on West 
Washington street. Rev. Arthur C. DeVries officiated and interment was held at 
Easton cemetery.

Bearers were Lawrence Kammers, John Kammers, Arthur Jackson and Burton Hill.
